DDS allows you to tailor your computing resources and storage space to your business needs.</p>
<p id="dds_02_0008__en-us_topic_0044018333_p13144143442217">You can use your account to create a maximum of 10 cluster instances. To create more cluster instances, click <span><img id="dds_02_0008__en-us_topic_0044018333_image1712875315511" src="en-us_image_0284275249.png"></span> in the upper right corner of the management console. On the <strong id="dds_02_0008__en-us_topic_0044018333_b842352706174528">Service Quota</strong> page, click <strong id="dds_02_0008__en-us_topic_0044018333_b842352706174546">Increase Quota</strong> to apply for quotas.</p>

After a DB instance is created, you can modify or disable the automated backup policy. DDS uses port 8635 by default, which is different from the default port numbers used by databases. To ensure database accessibility, you need to add the required security group rule.</li></ul>
