Each part is a contiguous portion of an object's data. Object parts can be uploaded independently and in any order. If the transmission of any part fails, that part can be retransmitted without affecting other parts. After all parts are uploaded, OBS assembles these parts to create the object. Multipart upload is recommended when the size of the object to be uploaded is greater than 100 MB.</p>

To upload an object of larger than 5 GB, use the multipart upload method.</p>
