Under <strong id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_en-us_topic_0000001269051661_b54280783595932">Database</strong>, click <strong id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_en-us_topic_0000001269051661_b74413043995932">Document Database Service</strong> to go to the DDS console.</span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_li7921722134318"><span>In the navigation pane on the left, click <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_uicontrol1131304942316"><b>Parameter Template Management</b></span>.</span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_li168501635193112"><span>On the <span class="uicontrol" id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_uicontrol98451852192318"><b>Parameter Template Management</b></span> page, locate the target parameter template, and click <span><img id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_image1164313278579" src="en-us_image_0000001224531664.png"></span> in the <strong id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_b4343112142415">Description</strong> column.</span></li><li id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_li17271248114017"><span>Enter new description information. The parameter template description contains a maximum of 256 characters and cannot contain the carriage return character and the following special characters: >!<"&'=</span><p><ul id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_ul1068042333615"><li id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_li133706166451">To submit the change, click <span><img id="dds_03_0044__en-us_topic_0000001268771657_image14729142711256" src="en-us_image_0000001224411716.png"></span>.
