Changing a Parameter Group Description

The description of a default parameter group cannot be modified.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DDS console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Parameter Group Management.
  3. On the Parameter Group Management page, select the Clusters or Replica Sets tab, locate the parameter group you created and click in the Description column.
  4. Enter new description information. The parameter group description contains a maximum of 256 characters and cannot contain the carriage return character and the following special characters: >!<"&'=

    • If you want to submit the change, click . After the modification is successful, you can view the new description in the Description column of the parameter group list.
    • If you want to cancel the change, click .
