Deleting a Policy

You can delete backup and replication policies if needed.

Prerequisites

You have created at least one policy.

Procedure

  1. Log in to CBR Console.

    1. Log in to the management console.
    2. Click in the upper left corner and select your region and project.
    3. Choose Storage > Cloud Backup and Recovery. Select a backup tab from the left navigation pane.

  2. Click the Backup Policies tab, locate the row that contains the policy you want to delete, and click Delete.

    Deleting a policy will not delete the backups generated based on the policy. You can manually delete unwanted backups.

  3. Confirm the information and click Yes.
